There has to be a practical use for an illusion like this. If its possible to create such an illusion with such a relatively simple picture, then what can be done when someone is actively trying to decieve, teach, or illustrate something much more important and compelling? If a national flag were designed in such fashion, then it would quickly become the most fascinating flag on Earth. And how about sound and smell? What grand illusions are we being subjected to without our consent and knowledge? Makes you think, huh?

This is a great post. I just wanted to add if I may.

The way we use our mobile devices is changing with the technology that smart phones are built upon. Mobile internet browsing has increased and will continue to increase with the rapid sales of smart phones. As the number of smart phone users continues to increase so will the amount of local searches from a smart phone.

People are using their smart phones to do local searches to find businesses that are close by, like restaurants, lock smiths, bars, cafe's, entertainment venues, etc. So with this increase in local searches it's important for business to take care of there website and make it mobile optimized.

If a business has a user friendly version of there website to make the user experience easier it will increase there sales. People that use a cellular phone to do local searches and are looking for more information on the website, will go to the website and if it's mobile optimized they will be able to find the information they seek a whole lot easier. It increases a customers likeliness to do business with them by 52%.

Email is great and lots of people use there cell phones to look at email, but also people use there cell phones to do SMS texting. And 95% of text messages are opened as opposed to 5% of email.

Just some extra things to consider.

Verizon no longer has the best coverage. i do not get service at my house with verizon but AT & T does. I want to cancel because of this and was told that I will be charged 350.00 to cancel. this is highway robbery if you ask me. My neighbors had sprint and went to them to cancel because they too want to switch to AT&T so that they have cell service at thier house, Sprint waived the cancellation fee. they said they appreciated the time they spent with them and would waive the fee, and they did! If verizon refuses to at least discount the cancellation fee, i will ultimatly be leaving verizon wireless anyway... just with very poor feelings towards them.

I have another phone given to me last year. I am waiting for Verizon contract to expire on Jan. 27, 2011. That is what the agent said I should do when I called him back in December 2010. Again, is the statement I received to be paid by me before you cancel me out?

I have called to cancel my Verizon cell phone of which I was told the contract ends on January 27th of 2011. I just received a statement, do I pay this or am I already paid for the whole month of January prepaid at beginning of contract?
