A nice and concise summation Ryan. I always think that your first point is one that commonly gets overlooked, even after I've seen and heard it mentioned numerous times before.

Okay, so maybe this is just me, but I got an iPhone at the beginning of the semester, and spent the first two months in my apartment without internet because I could do it on my phone instead. I am far from a lightweight internet user, and usually spend 5 or 6 hours a day online, plus the time I spend doing web design (okay, so I had to cheat and go upload websites from my school library).

I can see where you're going with this that mobile internet should be quicker and easier and contain unique content, but I also think that you should never rule out the idea that someone needs to do something that would require the full website (yesterday I actually DID schedule one of my classes from my phone as I was walking from my car to the building the class was in). It should always be quick and easy to access the original web page content if necessary, no matter how bad it looks on the screen, like with a link somewhere near the top of the page.

Hi -- thanks for this. I found some interesting tips on a mobile marketing blog recently and thought I would share. Not sure if you have ever heard of these guys, but they seem to be very popular.

They are talking about whether it makes sense to invest in mobile during these hard times.. comments seem to suggest users should. What are your thoughts?
