We are excited to announce that Mobile Ocean, a Flash Lite screensaver that we designed and developed, has been selected for the launch of Adobe’s new Flash Mobile Gallery within Adobe.com.
Hopefully, it will be the first of many featured items for Punchkick Interactive on Adobe.com. The Punchkick Interactive Mobile Ocean screensaver can be viewed within our company Web site on our Flash Lite Screensavers and Wallpapers page or purchased from Handango.com.

Mobile Ocean Screensaver Copyright Violations
I don’t know if I should be upset, or flattered. I think that my cease and desist letters solve that mystery. Some of the sites I found show hundreds of downloads of our Mobile Ocean Screensaver—that’s a bit upsetting.
I am also amazed that there are 1,350 pages in google search for “mobile ocean punchkick.” This basically means that when people post illegal downloads, they don’t even pay attention to scrubbing out the company name! At they very least I expect them to have setup keyword driven links back to our site. Did they? Nope.

Finally Flash Lite is listed in the technical specs of S60 and S40 mobile phones as feature in the Forum Nokia. It is also defined what type of implementation the specific phone includes. Some information are still not complete. Below are the different type of implementation of the Flash Lite player by the S60 and S40 Nokia phones.
S60 3rd Edition - Flash Lite 1.1 implementation
- Standalone
- WAP Browser
S60 3rd Edition FP1 – Flash Lite 2.0 implementation
- Standalone
- Wallpaper/Screensaver (still not confirmed, but I played with some phones at 3GSM which had this feature)
- S60 Browser
S60 3rd Edition FP2 – Flash Lite 2.1 implementation
- I am guessing all the above and would like to see animated ringtones!!
S40 3rd Edition FP1 - Flash Lite 1.1 implementation
- Wallpaper
- Screensaver
- Standalone
- WAP Browser
S40 3rd Edition FP2 - Flash Lite 2.0 implementation
- Wallpaper
- Screensaver
- Standalone
- WAP Browser
As far as I can tell there is no way for a regular consumer to buy screensavers through their handsets. I’ve built working screensavers for my BREW enabled Motorola V3m with Verizon and loaded them using Qualcomm’s AppLoader—but I am not a regular consumer. That said, does anyone know for sure if Verizon supports Flash Lite screensavers and wallpapers for any of it’s phones? There was a great deal of talk about this at MAX last October, but it was never clarified if screensavers and wallpapers for BREW phones are a thing of the future-or possible today.
